IAF – Proposed Regulations for Business Standards

here), while the Common Conduct Standards and the Additional Conduct Standards under the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023 became effective on 29th December 2023, the Business Standards were being developed as part of the Central Bank’s review of the Consumer Protection Code 2012.
As the Consumer Protection Code review has moved to Consultation phase and alongside the publication of the proposed Consumer Protection regulations, the Central Bank has also published proposed regulations containing the Business Standards applicable under IAF – ‘CENTRAL BANK REFORM ACT 2010 (SECTION 17A) (STANDARDS FOR BUSINESS) REGULATIONS 20[ ]’.
